Compared to theoriginale the Malossi control unit has fully modified listed planes in the advance curve and the shifted rpm limiter by 1,000 rpm. This new Digitronic manages the advance listed floor, sas valve listed top and PTC heater. Plan quoted in advance The management of the ignition advance is carried out through the linear interpolation of da three-dimensional listed plane, consisting of 16 engine rpm break points and 8 engine temperature break points. SAS valve quotad plane The secondary air intake downstream of the butterfly valve allows the motor control system to compensate le for the non-linearity of title typical of a carburetor system. The SAS (Secondary Air Source) valve is controlled by the control unit through the use of ad linear interpolation-quoted plane having 16 break points engine rpm and 8 break points engine temperature function. SAS valve management reduces le emissions and optimizes engine performance in all le conditions of use. PTC heater Particular attention has been paid to cold start-ups, ensuring the correct evaporation of gasoline in case of use of the vehicle in low temperatures. The control unit manages a PTC heater placed on the carburetor, allowing to keep the temperature of the carburetor tray constant and the fuel contained in it. Ignition coil charging time To extend the life time of the da 8 mm candle used on the vehicle, a coil charge time limitation strategy has been introduced to reduce the phenomenon of candle electro-erosion. The strategy used allows to reduce the discharge energy of the ignition system, in conditions of high rotational speeds and high alternator voltages, without compromising le performance of the engine. In addition, the engine control unit guarantees the operation of the vehicle even in the event of a deteriorated or absent battery. By ing the Kick Starter you can start the vehicle in any energy state of the battery.
